Felonies making light of human life deserve to be executed. Of course, a man must thoroughly be proved a criminal, and then this definite criminal must be executed. Innocent people were killed in the name of the law for regime maintenance in the past administrations, but the execution of the grave criminals is just and necessary for today's ROK, because now the illegal execution is impossible in Korea, I judge. Although some liberal lawmakers or civic groups insist on abolishing the capital punishment, it's but a short-sighted view, a view that doesn't consider both sides of the question. Inconsiderate members of the National Assembly will not know how much stress the nation feels when, having served even less than half of the jail term, economic offenders are pardoned. If a murderer who exasperated the people is not executed, the resentment and distress of the people will be doubled. It is not reasonable for the nation to feed for lifetime the  men unworthy to live, so the nation giving the people stress. I'd like to say that the victim's family may execute the death penalty. But the offender had better be killed by the nation for it is better for him not to go to hell with a grudge against the family of the victim. The government should fix a date for the execution of all the prisoners on death row. And thus remind the public of the severity of the law again. The government needs to follow the example of China in the determined punishment of the economic offenders. The government should follow the way the chinese government does when the latter executes without hesitation corrupt officials, economic criminals and drug peddlers. I wonder if someone will attack me that I as a christian am making a remark of little love. But the death penalty has biblical ground plainly.
