In the old days when people were very poor, Korean mothers hardly ate meat on the table, which was a rare food that couldn't be prepared frequently. but they fed it to their children. When the children said, "Mom, why don't you eat the meat with us?", they would say, "I don't like to eat meat. Hurry up and eat up the meat!" This is the Korean-style love of mother.

In the Bible, God said, "I really don't like honey, so do not offer honey to me (do not add honey to the offerings that will be burnt)!" If those who loved to give good things to God had honey, they would give it to God and burn it as a burnt offering. Knowing their heart, God said to them, "I don't like honey, so do not bring me honey." God thought, 'If you burn such a precious thing to me, then what will you eat?'

You know burnt offering in the Bible. It is to offer the sacrificial animal by burning it completely. And you know also peace offering. It is an offering that people willingly offer to God when they would like to thank God for his grace. And some portion of the peace offering is to be offered to God, while the rest is to be shared among the priests and the offerers. (Peace offering is a kind of communal meal, and God also is one of the participants.) Ah! Here God himself takes only blood and fat, which are really not valuable as food, but leaves the rest parts, which are really delicious, to men.

God who created our parents is more parental than our parents. Bible says, "A woman may forget her child, but God will never forsake you." Never doubt the love of God toward you! (You’re really his child.)
