A ridiculous pastor Kim, the pastor of Kw Church - Mk 1:21-28 -

>> And they went into Capernaum; and immediately on the sabbath he entered the synagogue and taught. And they were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as one who had authority, and not as the scribes. And immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, "What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God." But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be silent, and come out of him!" And the unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him. And they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, "What is this? A new teaching! With authority he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him." One day, I heard a voice coming from FEBC, perhaps the voice of a man who, a son of Kim the retired pastor of Kw church, ministers at the church the retired pastor has given him. He seemed to emphasize the importance of the support of the missionary broadcasting, but he was secretly bragging about himself.

 

This is Kim's (the son pastor's) testimony:

 

"I was on a plane, and a Buddhist monk greeted me in the Buddhist style of greeting (with the two hands put together on the chest). So I asked him, >>Do I know you?<< The monk said, >>I saw you preach on the Christian TV. I gladly watch your sermons.<< Missionary broadcasting is so important ...."

 

After all, he wanted to say by the testimony, that (although Christians in Korea criticize him for receiving the church from his father) even a Buddhist monk acknowledged him as a cleric.

 

 

Pastor Kim seems to have said so, thinking of an incident in which even an evil spirit recognized Jesus even though Jewish religioners rejected him. However, those who truly believed in God, though they were Jews, too, recognized Jesus as the Savior. And evil spirits completely submitted themselves to Jesus' authority and came out of people.

 

On the other hand, pastor Kim hasn't been acknowledged by true Christians while he could just be acknowledged(!) by a Buddhist monk. And one thing pastor Kim didn't know is this. The Buddhist monk never acknowledged Kim's authority as a pastor, but he even had a sense of comradeship with Kim. The monk has never abandoned his idol, the Buddha!

 

I couldn't help but laugh to see Kim who couldn't be acknowledged as a true servant of God by faithful servants of God, who, however, could be very happy to receive a Buddhist-style greeting from a monk serving an idol.

 

Mr. Kim, I think that both you and the monk are serving idols. You do not believe in the true God. The god who forgives you that refuse to repent sins is not the true God but an idol you've made, you who have got the pastorship and the church by wicked means, who thereby have hurt the glory of God. How can a god who forgives a thief that refuses to repent his theft and to return what he has stolen be the God?

 

Mr. Kim, Wake up quickly from the vain delusion that you're God's servant. In my opinion, the monk can enter the kingdom of God more easily than you and your father, because the monk can be saved if he receives the true gospel, repents his sins, and believes in Jesus.

 

Mr. Kim, do you think that the God and the gospel, the gospel Jesus accomplished by his blood, are so trifling that you can despise them like that?
