People in the world may feel uncomfortable when Christians thank and praise Jesus for his blood every day and every sermon. They may be angry when Jesus receives all thanks and praises. This is because they see Jesus' achievement as a good deed of a human being.

Jesus said, "Don't do good works publicly in order to look righteous and to be praised." Because it is hypocritical. Then shouldn't Jesus also have to hide his good deeds(!)?

This questioning is wrong.

Jesus did good works not to be seen as righteous or to be praised but to save humans. And Jesus had to make what he had done known widely among the people, because only those who believe what he did can be forgiven and saved. Jesus called what he did the gospel and entrusted this gospel to his disciples, saying, "Teach this to the people to the ends of the world." If a man who made a special drug that could cure a fatal disease was so humble that he concealed his achievement, it's not humility but an indirect murder! We must praise the blood of Jesus on the cross and make it known to all people, because people can be saved only by hearing the gospel, and that is the only way to salvation.

And Jesus was already thoroughly humble. He who is God was born a son of a poor carpenter, in Israel, the Roman colony. When born, he was laid in a manger, and he washed the feet of his disciples like a servant, and he sacrificed his life to forgive sinners. How much more humble he must be so that you can acknowledge he is humble?

And if we are truly saved by the merits of Jesus, we naturally show an attitude of acknowledging the merits of the blood of Jesus on the cross and of giving thanks and praises to him. That's natural. Jesus deserves such recognition, appreciation, and admiration, and the love between him and us becomes real when we give such recognition, appreciation, and admiration. This love keeps us in his works of salvation and leads us to eternal life.

I sincerely, with all my heart and strength, acknowledge, thank, and praise Jesus for his blood on the cross. Amen, amen, amen!
