Do not make churches human graves

In the chapter 43 of Ezekiel, the Old Testament, one of the reasons why God judged Israel is that Israelites buried the bodies of the kings near the temple of God, so that the temple was defiled. This means that they made the house of God tombs of kings.

What happened? Some of godly kings might think humanly how he could be near God even after his death, so he might make a will to bury his body near the temple.​

 

But how rude is this? If you think a little differently, isn't it an extreme blasphemy to make the place where the holy God is into their tombs? In Christian history, many churches used the churchyards as cemeteries for the saints, and even kept the relics of the godly saints in the basements of the churches. God already made it clear in the book of Ezekiel not to do such rash deeds, but the clergy who didn't read the Bible much have let these atrocities happen.

 

There should be no smell of dead people in the church. There should be no memorial hall of a dead Christian in the church. Nor should there be any portraits or figures of the dead in the church. I've been to an Anglican Church in Seoul before, I heard that the coffin of a priest who made great contribution to the Anglican Church before was enshrined under the floor of the church. How abominable! They used the temple dedicated to the living God as an individual's grave! How creepy and weird it would be when they hold a worship service where a dead body is buried? What are they doing?

 

Today, Catholic priests do not read the Bible much, so they invite idol worshipers to the cathedral and defile the temple of God. They do this because they do not know Israel was completely ruined on account of such deeds. God will punish them soon if they do not repent.

The church is a holy place where the living God is, so neither the living nor the dead should take possession of it, nor should we defile it by allowing idolaters to come in and out of it.
