Freedom of criticism against homosexuals must be guaranteed

Yesterday's ruling by the Supreme Court was an obvious misjudgment.

 

The Supreme Court said, "To say homosexuality is harmful is to infringe on the personal rights and the right to pursue happiness of LGBTQ people," and judged, "Homosexuality cannot be said to be harmful to teenagers," giving homosexual movies a grade that is allowed to teenagers.

 

However, ordinary people oppose homosexuality for various just reasons.

 

First, the Supreme Court misjudged in that it defined harmless the homosexuality that most people think to be harmful and refuse. For example, 100% of parents want their children to grow up normally, meet a spouse of the opposite sex, and build a happy family. Nevertheless the judge of the Supreme Court ruled that homosexuality cannot be said to be harmful to the teenagers. By what authority could he make such a subjective judgement (in my opinion, a judgement stained with false human rights)? The government did well when it gave the homosexual movies the NC-17 rate as most people wanted, and forbade teenagers to watch them, which it should do. But the judge of the Supreme Court defined 'harmful' and 'harmless' based on their subjective judgment. Suppose. There is a man who, thinking human dung is value-neutral, filed a lawsuit against the government when the government imposed sanctions on him, who had shitted on the street, who, however, protested against the officials, saying, "I think the human dung is clean, but why are you bothering me?" Then will the Supreme Court rule that to say the human dung is dirty is the violation of the personal rights of those who think it is clean, and that, therefore, the government should not punish those who shat on the street? The criterion for 'dirty' or 'evil' should be based on the judgment of the majority of the people. The court must accept the judgement of the people when the judgment of the people and that of the mental patients are directly opposite, because the government is not supported by a few mental patients but by the taxes and duties of the ordinary people.

 

And the personal rights are granted to persons whose behavior is right and just. The personal rights of homosexuals who destroy individuals, families and society are ridiculous false personal rights that justify criminals' sins. When did the people give the judge of the Supreme Court the authority to grant personal rights to criminals who most of people think are the worst sons and daughters? Will the Supreme Court guarantee also the drug offenders the personal rights, so they can't be called harmful criminals?

 

And the Supreme Court told of 'the right to pursue happiness' of homosexuals. How ridiculous! Alcoholics and drug users are happy when they drink or take drugs. The same is true of homosexual psychotics. How contradictory, unjust, and comical it is for the judge to think that to justify homosexuals' deeds is to keep their right to pursue happiness! And as homosexuality is prevalent in society, a lot of families of the people are destroyed, that is, 'the right to pursue happiness' of the people is violated. Nevertheless, the judge couldn't see the violation of the rights of the people.

 

Now the people, the courts, the National Assembly, and the government must face the reality. We must enact the anti-homosexuality law to expel such a dirty and evil mental illness from this country and protect the people's right to pursue happiness.

 

And in no case should the government deprive some people of their right to criticize homosexuality, people who call homosexuality evil and criticize it according to their conscience and beliefs; because all people of the Republic of Korea have the freedom of conscience and freedom of expression, and because the right to pursue happiness is guaranteed to all people, the right of those who think they can be happy when homosexuality disappears from the country and the country is clean. This right to pursue happiness is an individual's inherent right that cannot be blocked by the government, the courts, the National Assembly, or homosexuals.

 

Of course, criticizing homosexuality by false information and lies should be blamed. But it is perfectly legitimate to criticize homosexuality based on facts, on one's conscience and beliefs, in order to protect 'the right to pursue happiness' of oneself and the society he belongs to. And it is extremely legitimate to criticize homosexuality from one's religious beliefs. In particular, it would be an unforgivable oppression of human rights and brutality to stop the mouths of those who let the public know the real homosexuality and criticize it, when homosexuals try to glorify homosexuality in a subtle way in order to propagandize and spread it.

 

Therefore, the following criticisms cannot be subject to sanctions.

 

* The claim that homosexuality is dirty

It is in an individual's own right to judge and feel whether something is clean or dirty. Just as the government can't force an individual to think human dung to be clean, so it can't force the people to think homosexuality to be harmless. The government and the homosexuals have no right to take issue with the feelings of those who feel extremely uncomfortable for homosexuals and want to shun them. And do ordinary people not have the right to tell others that homosexuality is dirty, when homosexuals tell others without restriction that homosexuality is harmless?

 

* The claim that homosexuality is evil

This is a matter of personal conviction (personal belief), especially a matter of belief of religion, and a matter of freedom of conscience also. Do the normal people have no right to say homosexuality is a wicked deed, when homosexuals say their deeds are not wicked?

 

* The claim that homosexuality is a mental illness

This also is a matter of personal belief.
