The God of the Old Testament was not a national God of Israel. God had already had a relationship with all mankind long before Abraham, the ancestor of Israel. Then God chose Abraham and promised to bless all mankind through his descendants. The nation of Israel was Abraham's descendants, and the Old Testament came into existence during the days of Israel's religious life. Of course, it was a long time after that when the Old Testament was confirmed as the Bible. God sent prophets and promised that he would send Messiah, the Savior of Israel. Around AD 1, Abraham's descendants, the Israelites, were expecting the Messiah. But, many people at the time thought that the promised Messiah would be a political messiah, that is, a man who would deliver Israel from Roman colonization and achieve independence.

 

But Jesus, born of the virgin Mary, gathered his disciples and taught them the gospel. The disciples witnessed that Jesus raised the dead and performed miracles that humans could never do. Jesus said that he was one with the Father, that he would die on the cross for the sins of all mankind, and that he would be resurrected on the third day after his death. Jesus promised that he would go to the Father to prepare dwelling places for them and come again to them to take them there. Everything Jesus himself prophesied has been fulfilled. His decisive word was the promise of eternal life for those who believe in him. After his resurrection, Jesus reappeared to his disciples and told them to preach the gospel to the people, baptize them, and get them to do what Jesus taught. The resurrected Jesus appeared to Paul, and Paul told the people that Jesus was their Savior and God. And the resurrected Jesus appeared to John the Apostle and got him to write the Book of Revelation, where Jesus said all the dead would be raised and judged by him. The Bible tells us that Jesus now is sitting on the right hand of God the Father.

 

Then, why not only the New Testament but also the Old Testament is an asset of Christianity? It is indeed, because the early Christians believed in the God of the Old Testament and saw the Messiah promised in the Old Testament in Jesus. Jews who do not recognize Jesus as the Messiah also can claim ownership of the Old Testament. However, with the complete destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70, the Jewish religious community could no longer perform the religious ceremonies stipulated in the Old Testament, and the religious community based on the law of the Old Testament could not last any longer. Above all, the political messiah that those who refused to acknowledge Jesus as the Messiah so longed for has not appeared until now, 2,000 years after that. Therefore, it can be said that Christianity, which has advanced one step further from Judaism, is a legal religious organization that inherited the Old Testament. Our religion Christianity believes in the God who was testified to be the Creator and the Lord of salvation in the Old Testament, and has found that the God is the Trinity of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and believes in him as such. Jesus, the Savior of Christianity, is God the Son who became a man.

 

Of course, Christianity has a monopoly on the New Testament. Therefore, the New Testament and the Old Testament are scriptures of Christianity, and Christianity here refers to a religious community that confesses >the Apostles' Creed<. The faith of the Apostles' Creed is as follows. >We believe in the only God of Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who created the world. We believe that our sins are forgiven by Jesus' death on the cross. We believe that Jesus was resurrected. We believe in the church Jesus established, so that we enroll ourselves in the church and live a Christian life. And we believe in our resurrection and eternal life.< Those believers confessing the Apostles' Creed gathered together writings that match the creed carefully and made them Christian scriptures.

 

Therefore, those who interpret the Bible outside the boundary of the faith of the Apostles' Creed are robbers and frauds who harm and insult Christianity. Bible is neither a history book nor a science book, but the word of God. If you interpret the Bible on the standards of the Apostles' Creed, there can be no lies at all in it, and it will be just 100% truth. The whole and complete truth for humans to be saved is in the Scripture of Christianity.

 

The Bible is a scripture created to strengthen the faith in the Trinity God and the Savior Jesus, and it is strictly prohibited by Christianity to use it to destroy such faith, and Christianity calls those who interpret the Bible wrong heretics.
